Dylan Loriaux -- Freshmen -- West Linn HS (OR)
Tell them that it is a place that is very different from Oregon. The people are just as nice and friendly, but in many different ways. You probably know what Im talking about. It would probably be best for a prospective student to visit during school hours to really get a feel for the campus. Academically, I would say that its actually easier than high school and that you learn more. The classes move fast, but they are only two or three times a week and they give you plenty of time to study and ask questions. From a social standpoint, we just hang out in the sun and longboard or whatever. Its a really easy-going place to live. Everything you need is on campus, so you don't have to worry about rising gas prices. I never thought that I'd be able to live without a car, but here, Im better off without one.
