Elizabeth Parker -- Junior -- Mercer Island HS (WA)

Thank you so much for thinking of me for this task! I think the most important thing to tell students specifically from Mercer Island is that the transition between both schools is amazing. Because both schools are small, you don't feel overwhelmed, but at the same time the diversity between here and Mercer Island is huge. Let students know that with the writing skills you learn at MIHS, they will exceed here at Redlands, also let them know what a wonderful Mercer Island support network we have here, as well as the location, it is the same small town feel, but with so many places to visit only a short drive away.
